Grandma and Grandpa watched the Bachelor with me tonight. Grandpa couldn't stop commenting on it, he had many thoughts about it: from "He sure never shaves does he?" to "Oh well I think she is so much prettier than the other one." He also thought, "Juan Pablo is just like Obama! He never gives straight answers!" On the commercials he would tell me about Grandma and his first date (which he didn't remember right) and when she first met his parents (the whole cube of butter fell into grandma's baked potato on accident. Oops). Grandma did not like Juan Pablo. She thought that he just wanted a "play date" and said a lot of times that I should never find a husband that way. Thanks Grandma. Later, I was telling them goodnight and Grandpa said "Goodnight snookums. I love you. See? I'm not afraid to say I love you!" (Juan Pablo wouldn't tell the final girl he loved her yet) and Grandma said "You never call me snookums! You've called me tootsie but never snookums!" I think she wants some new nicknames Grandpa.

Grandpa made cookies tonight. They were soo good! He was very excited because I asked him if he was going to make his "famous cookies". He kept telling me they weren't famous! But he made them and was very diligent about them.

He sat in this chair right in front of the oven waiting for the cookies to be done so he could take them right out.

So I went skiing this weekend and I didn't have any sunglasses with me! Oops. I did put sunscreen on but I still got a pretty bad sunburn. My eyes got all swollen and red-- it was pretty bad.

It got better though! After 10 minutes of this thing--Grandpa gave me his old ice pack he got from the hospital to use on my face and grandma told me that if I keep it on my eyes for more than 10 minutes then it will make me blind so I only used it for 10 minutes at a time!

(It's on the fish blanket grandpa pulls out every single time I visit because they think I love it so much. Grandpa told me that when he dies, that blanket goes to me. I just used it that one time because I was cold.)

Much better after ice and some aloe vera!

I am doing my internship in Twin Falls Idaho and staying with my grandparents! I love spending time with them but they do some crazy things! (They're getting a little bit old) I thought I'd just write some of these crazy things down so other people can enjoy their craziness too!
